18th December 2010 Snowboarding: clent hills Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: Weather: blizzard Max Speed: Distance Covered: well with about 6 inches of snow here in the midlands i had to get out and play, walked to the local hills from the house as traffic was grid locked. spent the next three hours playing in the snow. ok the runs weren't huge about 500m but it was still good fun if some what kanckering, the wife is progressing nicely as well and juast about linking turns now. on the way back we thought we'd go and look at the trafic chaos adn again nothing was moving, although as it was quiet on the hilly bit of road i decided to board ride the road to the main A456 at Manor way. great fun the misses opted for the sit down snowboard toboggan run. just took me 4 hours to drive 12 miles to work, i was playing dogems on the M5 with the wagons jack knifed every where. i Suppose the only bonus is all Truck movements tonight are for emergencies only.. So Xmas dinner it is then! |
